The mission of the Clinton Lake Waterfowl Association is to create interest and opportunity for Clinton Lake waterfowlers, create more opportunity for youth and handicapped hunters, and most importantly to promote wetlands and waterfowl conservation.

Moist soil units, when managed properly, provide valuable "duck foods" through native vegetation seed production. Barnyard grass, smartweed, sedges, and rushes are just some of the valuable wetland species you can find at the Salt Creek Wetland Project.
